Behind The Scenes, Part Three – Putting Our Edith Together
Our Edith Piaf has been in the works for many months. Capturing the “Edith Look” was a lot of fun.
Because the lady was quite small, our Edith had to very small too. Her hands, feet, arms and legs were carved out of poplar wood.
After all the parts were fitted and moving freely, the costume pattern was made of muslin so that it looked just right.
