Our Edith has been in the works for many months. Capturing the "Edith Look" was a lot of fun.
Because the lady was quite small, our Edith had to very small too. Her hands, feet, arms and legs were carved out of poplar wood.
All the joints were fitted to move freely.
After all the parts were fitted and moving freely, the costume pattern was made of muslin so that it looked just right.
And finally, after many weeks, our Edith is completed and made her premier in our performance at the Sheldon Concert Hall this past May 21, 2013.
